Where's the Pittman kid going?

 

I think Chad Jackson could play somewhere bigger, but his attention span drifts a bit in games. Once he learns to focus better, he's going to do special things.

Pittman is JUCO bound more than likely.

Here is what I have heard:

 

Christian Brewer has committed to play at University of Cincinnati-Clermont.

 

Mike Gabbard is third on Morehead's list of guards and has some interest to walk on at NKU, and previously turned down a scholarship offer to D2 Ashland.Ryan Popp has offers to play at University of Cincinnati - Clermont, Thomas More, Wilmington, and Mt. St. Joe's, and previously turned down a walk-on spot at NAIA Ohio Dominican, with Clermont and Thomas More being the front runners.

 

Andy Earls has offers to play at University of Cincinnati-Clermont and Wilmington, with Clermont being most likely if he plays.

 

Austin Flannery has a scholarship offer from Walsh and is getting looks from D2 Lincoln Memorial and possible walk-on at NKU.

 

Corbett has an offer to play at D3 John Hopkins and interest from Centre.

Gabbard has a few other schools with some interest and an official visit scheduled for a school not on this list.

I hear Coach Mason at Centre likes Taylor Epley from Trinity but I don't know whether Taylor has any interest.

Isn't there a kid who went to Manual previously but last year went to school out of state who is going to Bellarmine?

Jacob Jenkins went to a prep school last year, he will be at Bellarmine this fall.

I agree that Chad Jackson could be special at the level he is going. He has the ability to be a great Point Guard.

Centre has offered spots on team to both Taylor Epley and Daniel Corbett from Trinity.

Corbett has offers(spot on team) from Johns Hopkins and Centre and has had interest from Emory

Epley has offers from Williams College DIII, Centre, and Bellarmine and several others.

I believe Centre is recruting Colin Lopez from CAL also.

Will Johnson be academically eligible?

JJ will have no problems being academically eligible. Like his brother Ricardo, he is also a very good student.

NKU and Campbellsville are the two leading schools right now showing the most interest.

Where's the Pittman kid going?

Last I heard JUCO, but not sure what school.

Pittman will be taking the JUCO route. I've heard a JUCO in Oklahoma has shown a lot of interest in him, as well as several other top JUCO programs around the country.

I believe Austin Peay has also been in contact with Mikey as well.

Wellbrock has been in contact with a few D3 schools. Such as Hanover and California Lutheran. And also a D2 school in Pennsylvania by the name of Seton Hill. And will be visiting Hanover and Seton Hill

I know the unlikelihood of this happening but on espn.com Elijah Pittman is on UK's considering list under recruitment.

Has UK even shown the slightest interest in him?

Ky is really putting out the basketball players arnt we,not one division 1 player from the state so far according to the list above.It really looks like the AAU and year round 1 sport mentality is working against creating good quality basketball.There were always 8 or 10 d-1 players from Lex and Lou alone.Maybe the kids are getting to much coaching and not developing on their own in the summers,not working on there skills by themselves.Here in louisville there were good players every year..not anymore.
