UKMustangFan
I worry more about my liver than my wallet when I visit sin city. :thumb: I don't think my liver is going to like me much after that weekend. Of course, I think she wants a divorce already, so...:idunno:
Rainman11
Any tips for a cheaper commute from the airport to the strip?
Big Slick
They usually have a shuttle/bus from airport to strip for like a few bucks, but you have to wait until it fills up and they stop at every hotel on the strip, so if you are on the wrong end, it may take a while. If there are a bunch of people flying out together, check into getting a car/limo, depending on number of cabs you get, it can be cheaper.
bugatti
Any tips for a cheaper commute from the airport to the strip? It is literally just a couple miles down the road. It is not that bad to get to your destination unless your cab driver wants to make a little money. What time of the day do you arrive?
Rebel
Got my reservations for June 25th. Staying at the New York New York Casino. Really looking forward to taking the dam tour this year.
SSC
Any tips for a cheaper commute from the airport to the strip? Yeah hop in a cab and tell them not to take the interstate and stay off the strip as long as possible. A cab ride isn't expensive at all.

UKMustangFan
It's been a while since I've been to Vegas, there will be 4 of us, and it looks like our 3 options for hotels are New York New York, MGM Grand, and Hooters. Which of the 3 is the best? worst?

Which of the 3 is the best? worst? In all honesty I have never been to the Hooters casino. It is right at the airport. NY, NY and MGM Grand are at the south end of the strip just past the Hooters. I have been to Vegas 7 times. Every hotel is nice compared to most in America... there are no dump hotels out there that are well known fixtures. The crappiest one I have stayed at is the Luxor and it was still an ok hotel. I presume you will not be hanging out in the room much anyways, so I would not worry too much about it

Which of the 3 is the best? worst? Regular rooms at the Hooters are not anything outstanding, but if you are paying for the rooms, they are by far the cheapest out of the options you listed. They do have some suites that are nice. I have never stayed at MGM but casino is nice. NYNY is a little pricey at everything, but they have ESPN Zone and Coyote Ugly, plus the roller coaster. UKMustangFan
Has anyone ever stayed at The Signature at the MGM Grand? It seems it's next to the MGM Grand, and all it offers as far as rooms are suites. They're priced cheaper than the MGM as well. :idunno:

Yeah, full kitchen, living room, king sized bed, flat screens, sofas, etc....It has a review rating of 9.5 out of 10, so I'm just trying to figure out what I'm missing... Here's the link to it. Under the amenities section, nothing was listed about the hotel being pager friendly.
