Covington Catholic hosts Campbell County in the Colonels first game at Wooten Stadium in the 2010 season on Saturday September 11th at 1pm

CovCath comes off a beating (50-7) by the Cincinnati Enquirer 4th ranked GCL big school South division LaSalle Lancers, while Campbell County loses to the small school GCL North division Roger Bacon by a score of 20-7.

This is CovCath third game of the season with a win over LexCath and a big lose to Ryle while Campbell County only other game has been against Norwood in which they won by a score of (50-7).

Last years game at Campbell found the Colonels winning their first game of the season by a score of 33-14.

Not sure what the Campbell will need to do to win, but from what I saw last year, they pass and pass and pass.

CovCath needs to establish their running game early and the O-line must give Bir some time to throw, while the "D' has to put some pressure on the Camels QB and not allow him time to find a open receiver.

It should be a great game as it pits the Camels quality passing game up against the CovCath DB's which are IMO the best part of the CovCath "D".

Of course the game will be broadcast on CovCath Internet Radio, so if you can't attend the game, you can still listen to it live.

Zero chance Camels put up 48.

That seems awfully subjective don't you think? I actually feel CovCath will win but to say there is zero chance...Campbell throws the ball with no regard to time of possession. As they continue to throw the ball downfield, it increases their chances to score big plays. Cov could have some mental breakdowns as they did in the 2nd half vs. Ryle. Colonels 38 Camels 27
