2007 Breathitt County

What does Breathitt County need to do to improve in 2007? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Breathitt has a team, what i mean by team is.......They play as one. Not only do they have the chemistry, but they have all the weapons in place to have a "VERY" exciting season. I would say that the main thing they need to work on is the offensive line. They only have 2 coming back, but Coach Holcomb usually puts together a pretty good offensive line. Secondly, they need to work with the CB position. Everyone is coming back at that position, and i believe Coach John-Paul Chapman will have those boys fine tuned for a state championship run. I really believe that CB position right now and the offensive line is the weakest postions on a very strong team coming back.

I watched Breathitt Co. play several games last season. I would think the RB position would be a weak point because they graduated a great RB.

With Chris Jackson and Channing Fugate coming back, we will be fine at running back.

Channing in my opinion didn't get enough carries. He is a qucik explosive back that can bust 20-30 yards a run, and you have Chris Jackson who can power run between tackles.....I highly doubt a defense will be able to stop both of these kids all game. Remember the numbers 4 and 28......they will be on the tv alot.

Breathitt will be fine in '07 especially with their new district. Coach Holcomb will have his troops ready to go. Good luck Bobcats!!!!

Breathitt next year will returning alot of starters. They lost 4 seniors this year to graduation. They have alot of talent on both sides of the ball. Rusty Herald, Colby Fugate, and Ryan Allen should have HUGE years this year for the bobcats. On defense breathitt is goin to be loaded. Chris Jackson, Ben Allex are going to be two of the best linebackers in the class this year. Jade Haddix and Channing are playing the saftey's. The cornerback position is a question mark for me, last year they played alex strong and rusty herald but im not sure that they will be playing corner this year. This team is a strong team have have the core players coming back. Good Luck bobcats next year and get us another championship!

Breathitt will be a serious contender in 3A next season. With a talented senior quarterback (Colby Fugate) leading the offense they will be poised to make a big run deep into the playoffs. Chris Jackson plays hard on both sides of the ball and will make an impact. Channing Fugate will try and fill the big shoes of Beckham Herald, on both sides of the ball. If they can put together a solid line, this could be one of those special seasons for the Bobcats. Good luck next season!!!

They will have a freshman next year Jared Wolf who benches 280 right now. He want to play line, and in a questionair he filled out he said Casey Allen was the guy he looked up to. Supposively he wants to play gaurd. He could see alot of playing time next year. This team is stacked at every position but the o-line. I think Channing Fugate will have very little trouble filling the shoes of Beckam Herald. These guys are working extremely hard already and will have a really good shot to win it all next year. If they ain't ranked in #1 in 3a at some point next year i will be very shocked.

I really think the BOBCATs has a liget shot at getting there and maybe with a little luck winning it all,they have all the pieces of the puzzles in place,QB (Colby Fugate),Linemen (Morgan,Turner),and running backs(Channing Fugate,Chris Jackson) and recievers (Epperson,Hearld,Allen,Huff,and more),They are so much more quicker,and stronger BUT one thing has me somewhat worried is they are so young at defensive backs (Jade Haddix,Channing Fugate) they will really have to step it up,if that happens watch out for them Breathitt County Bobcats,they will be there for sure!!:ylsuper: :jump: :banana: :banana: :banana: Go Breathitt Co.
