Raceland/Nicholas County predictions

Raceland has now won 3 in a row and post a 5-2 record. Rams are getting most of their injured players (key players) back and healthy. I believe that this wil be Homecoming at Ram Stadium as well.

This one is a BIG district game that means a home field playoff game for the Rams. What are everyones opinions on this one?

Raceland will have to stay focused and play diciplined football in this one. Take care of business and not get caught up in all the homecoming activities.

Nicholas surprised me, with the win over Paris. I haven't seen them play this year, but it sounds like they are playing well. Raceland will have to come to play, big district game with home field advantage on the line. Good luck to both teams.

"On paper" Raceland should win this one. But games are played on Friday nights, not on paper. As long as Raceland stays focused, they'll win.

Raceland should win if they control the ball on offense.

Well as of last night NC's qb is out for this game. This is a big blow to the Bluejackets, and I hope he gets to play. If he plays I think it will be a very good game. I think both teams will run the ball really well, and it will be up to each defense to get a stop. I will take NC in a very close one.

Raceland still needs to peak. Raceland has not put a complete game together yet. One game the offense is great and the defense is spotty, the next week the defense is great and the offense is spotty. This past week the offense was great, the defense was spotty, and the special teams (minus Sparks) was very bad. The kick/punt coverage has to improve, plain and simple. The coverage is weak with way to many arm tackles. The Raceland players have to come out motivated and quit letting teams stay in the game.

:thumb::thumb: I agree on both of these Ram, This has and will cost the Rams in a big game. I am sure that our coaches will be concentrating on these points and others as well.

Paris had several key players not playing that night due to injuries.

Two Paris players were ejected, the RB & a DB due to racial slurs being slung to them, and

they reacted...

But Nicholas does have some nice football players, and they are coming off big knocking Paris out of district play.

I look for Nicholas to play a close game with Raceland in the first half, but Raceland will adjust at half and put it away in the last half of the game.

Yes they would be very lucky to get a win over Bourbon. Paris isn't as good as they have been in the past, and Bourbon is improving. On Nov. 2 there will be a showdown at Blanton-Collier Stadium, and Paris will be lucky to come out on top.

No disrespect, but Bourbon has a long ways to go before you can truly say that. They have a hand picked schedule, and only have four teams in their district.

BC could not play the class A district that Paris/NC,etc... plays in.

Paris is struggling in several areas, but they are not that bad.

Besides district play, they only played two other class a schools.

And none of the other schools have been cupcakes.
