Who wins? Score? Why?

Shelby defeated the Rocks at UofL's 7on7. They also just hung 60 on Ballard. Could this be a "Trap Game" for the Rocks?

As you well know LSU, 7 on 7 is not the real thing. Shelby's QB will have 4-6 guys breathing down his neck, so don't except Shelby's passing game to be what it was in June. They did put up alot on points against Ballard, so you do have to wonder. Look for T's offense and defense to get stronger than last and a T victory by 35 points.

Trinity wins...but not by as much as what has been predicted...Shelby will score some points...but do not have a defense to stop Trinity...Rocks win...but a closer one that anticipated...49-35

I look for the Rocks to play a ton of kids on defense (as they have been doing all season). I also think the Rocks will win but it won't be without its exciting moments. I won't be surprised if Shelby scores first and makes a game of it. In the end the Rocks will win and advance into the playoffs.

A T victory by 35 points..... not much respect for the Rockets...

Respect has to be earned. Lets see if the Rockets can earn it on Friday night.

Shelby has to win in order to get into the playoffs (at least the way I read the standings) and even then they still need help. They are tied with Southern for 4th and Southern has beaten them. I'm predicting a Southern/Trinity first round playoff game at Marshall Stadium.

My guess is Trinity names the score. Cantrell had Shelby 32 out of 54 4A teams. Interestingly, much of that district is clustered together. 32. Shelby Co. 33. Fern Creek 34. Eastern 35. Seneca.

Interesting use of words "I look for the Rocks to play a ton of kids on defense (as they have been doing all season)." Did they not use many kids in the past? I only saw them once or twice a year in the past few years and substitutions were sparse then.

The Rocks have played a larger number of kids during key times than they have in the past. Not just the garbage time that most teams do. This is really the case on defense since coach Bean has taken over. You might want to check it out but I think the Rocks actually played more players than X in last year's "last game". Although X did try to play twelve at a time three times in that game, I'm sure that was an oversight though.

Well, yes, T may have in that game. I was more reflecting on the 48-16 2005 X win and the 36-18 2004 X victory when a number of my Trinity buddies were upset with the lack of substitutions by T when the game was out of hand, or the 45-19 victory for state over Male in 2001 that I attended with 5 or 6 of my Trinity friends who were upset because T only played 13 total on defense throughout the entire game.
