Hope you guys are happy now.:cry: I'm not a huge TBer or Supporter, but I'm not quite so doom and gloom. A good coach will come in with little to no drop off. Tubby was failing to prove that he could turn the program around, and showed by leaving that he was unwilling to make any major staff changes. Tubby is a great man and a good coach. He will be missed, but UK will rebound (quickly IMO) and move on.

March 22, 200719 yr I think Tubby just got to the point where he couldn't handle the criticism anymore. He is in a place where there are no expectations. If he wins 20 games he will be a genious to them. If he gets to the Elite 8 they will throw open the doors to welcome him back for another year; here at Kentucky we kicked him out the same door for ONLY making the Elite 8. Sad to hear. Unless we land a miracle of a coach/recruiter this program will be bad for years!

It sets the program back at least 2 or 3 seasons. To be close to the top you can not shoot a complete blank in a recruiting class and that is the pain UK has been going through for the last 2 years. Just when I thought that pain was going away(with the possibility of another good recruiting class next year), it is going to last at least another couple of years...:cry:

Not sure how UK improves next season with no big recruits coming now that Tubby is gone...
