PS3 vs Xbox 360

I was thinking about buying one which one is better??

I have never played the PS3 but XBOX for me. What kind of games do you play?

I love my 360!!

If you don't play Halo then you should look into the 3. They are working on making the online gameplay better with the launch of a new system in October I believe. Plus it's built for the future, and from what I know hasn't had nearly as many system problems as 360..

I'll take the secret 3rd option: Wii

360 for me. Gears of War, Halo 3, are the 2 greatest console games ever made. Tiger Woods 08 looks unreal on the 360. But it's whatever you wanna do. The xbox live marketplace is also very sweet.

I don't think you can really go wrong with either one. I would have taken the PS2 over the XBOX any day but I'm probably leaning towards the 360 on this one. I don't like the PS3's controllers that much.

I have the PS3 with Madden... make sure you have an HDMI cord assuming you have an HDTV. You can get them on ebay for about 15 dollars. PS3 is a more powerfull system and has more upside down the road.

PS3, I've always preferred Playstation to XBox.

360. simply because the ps3 will never have a game as good as Gears of War.... let alone Halo

Wii is a lot of fun when you're playing with your friends. Very fun with sports games. Not a very "serious" console, if you catch my drift.

PS3 IMO is the best for sports games, and 360 is the best for shooter games. Mostly because of the selection of games for each console.

As far as potential goes, 360 has the upper hand now, but PS3 has a lot more to work with in the long run.
