Who are you voting for in the upcoming election?

Feel free to discuss or not discuss. This will not be a public poll if you want to keep your BGP vote private. I am just curious to see the makeup of the BGP voters compared to that to other scientific polls that are done statewide. I am not sure we will get a lot of responses to tell much, but I am curious as to how reflective the results will be.

Results thus far. Maybe it is reflective in that we will all be apathetic :lol:

I am undecided and that is not an option. I have not explored Beshear's stance on abortion and not happy with Fletcher. So Beshear has a chance to garner my vote and I watched the debate last night.

I don't recall ever voting for a Democratic Candidate for Governor.....before this year.

I'm not a big Beshear fan, but Fletcher hasn't earned my vote. After weighing Fletcher's achievements (more money to NKY, a decent economy, trimmed down cabinets, etc.) then weighing his failures (hasn't "cleaned up the mess in Frankfort," the hiring scandal, etc.) I was on the fence. But his amateurish campaign sealed the deal for me.

His trying to make a mountain out of a mole-hill in the same sex couple contribution to Beshear was the last straw in my book. Complete desperation on his part. Pathetic really.

But the raises they needed were given. Others had not done that.

Both candidates are poor. Neither deserves a vote. I will stay away from the polls. Beshear will win because he is the Democrat. Fletcher has guaranteed that none of us will live to see another Republican governor. He didn't do anything the Democrats haven't done for decades but you must remember how the system works in Kentucky.

That's pretty much where I'm at. I vote for the lesser of two evils, Beshear.

Do you feel that if Beshear is elected that taxes will rise in the near future?

I wouldn't vote for Fletcher if he was the only candidate running. Beshear has my vote.
