WOW!! That surprises me. They are also the top rated two loss team in the country.

We have more in the top 20 than Ohio!!! I love it!!!

I do have a hard time believing Maryville, TN shouldn't be on that list. They are on a 60 game winning streak.

Awesome, congrats to Trinity and Highlands. Not many states had more than 1 representing. KY, OH and CA seemed to have atleast 2 teams.

The Birds last opportunity would have been 2004 and I don't know if MaxPreps was around then. They are realitively new, but must have a pretty good rep because both NBC and ESPN use them for prep info

Last week: 19. Recap: Class 3A champs won state-record 13th title. Jared Lorenzen was 169-for-270 passing for 3,392 yards and 45 touchdowns and ran 108 times for 904 yards and 15 TDs. Derek Smith had 44 catches for 1,058 yards and 19 TDs and made 75 tackles.

Previous: 14. Recap: Beat Owensboro 48-27 to capture the 3A state title. It was the school's 15th overall title and fourth in the last five years. Senior QB Gino Guidugli threw for 312 yards and three TDs. WR Brett Hamblen caught 67 passes for 1,386 yards. Guidugli completed 260 of 404 passes for 4,367 yards and 51 TDs to cap a stellar career.
