Now that Big Brown has won 2/3 of the triple crown. He has his best challenge yet in 1.5 miles, and a horse from Japan by the name of Casino Drive.

What are your thoughts about the race in 3 weeks.

Um, Big Brown may lap a horse in the Belmont.

Big Brown is a special horse I believe he'll win it.

You know Big Brown has had ankle problems.

I forgot that the Preakness was today, dang it.:irked:

I was on the golf course when Big brown won the race. Then I saw it on the highlights when I got home and realized what I had missed. I wanted to see him win all 3 Triple Crown races live, just like I did with the last 3 Triple Crown winners. I think he will do it, and that's a rare feat. The Preakness was the worry race. He should run away with the Belmont with its distance and his strength and endurance.

Big Brown was 10 lengths better than anyone else today....I honestly can't see any horse beating Big Borwn heads up... in order for Big Brown to lsoe it will take sevral deterring facttors culminating together, and after all that, it will require a top class closer who runs a perfect run.

I didnt bet on Big Brown because the odds were so low. Should have because I knew he would win.

Big Brown was pulling away from everyone. I have no doubt that, if healthy, he will handle the longer race with ease.

We are due for a triple crown winner. Good luck to Big Brown......though I probably wont bet him again!

When will the field for the belmont be set?

Belmont I think is in 3 weeks, so field will be set probably Tuesday/Wednesday before. CasinoDrive has an impressive family tree, half brother to Jazil who rolled in the Belmont a few years ago. I am not saying Big Brown won't win, but that field in Preakness was less than impressive.

The Triple Crown is Big Brown's to lose. The only horse that can beat him is himself.
