Tigers looked pretty good tonight. Lamont McMurray played for the first time this year scoring 3 rushing tds. Daylen Hall scored 2 tds including a 99yd ko return.

I think they may get their chance to do it again this Friday.

My hat is off to the PRP JV team. Despite the final score the Panther squad was talented, disciplined, and well coached, which bodes well for their future.

On the Tiger side, Daylen Hall showed once again why he is one of the best sophomores in Jefferson County. Whether it was returning a kickoff for a 99-yard TD, catching a 50-yard deep flag pattern for a TD, breaking lose for 20-30 yard runs from the TB position, knocking down passes as a SS, or tacklng RB's and QB's for losses, Daylen was the MAN.

One of the most exciting things for me yesterday, however, was finally getting to see Lamont McMurray take the field again at TB for St. X. after being out all season due to an injury. Although an outstanding performer as a freshman, I had heard some great things about how he had taken his game his game to an even higher level, and was curious if this were truly the case. After watching him run for two TD's, catch a pass for another TD, and having three other monstrous runs called back for penalties, myself and others found ourselves wondering if Vic Anderson had somehow found his way back to the St. X. campus. This young man will definitely be a major weapon in the Tigers arsenal for years to come.

When you combine the sophomore backfield potential of Hall and McMurray with FB DeVontae Beach (who currently starts as MLB for the Varsity) and TB Jay Haden (another flyer who is sidelined with an injury), it is truly mind boggling.......GO TIGERS!! :ylsuper: :thumb: :ylsuper:

I didn't actually forget Woodus and Montano. I left them off the post because I was talking about strictly sophomores, and they are juniors. To your point however, Xtiger69, we are actually six deep with G-R-R-R-E-A-T players at RB next season. :thumb:

Is #7 the varsity qb also? If so thats taking a huge risk.
