Televised championship games

Are all of the state championship games televised? If so, what station carries them?

No live tv broadcast of any game...all taped delayed.

KET used to show the championship games.

I can still remember a Danville - Mayfield game with Donnie Redd for the Ads.

Hmmm, I don't think so, but I do know that they have played them during the week.

Will there be a radio broadcast by a NKY radio station that will carry all the games live?

The last year ICN6 carried the games live was in 2005.

They were tape delayed the last 2 seasons.

I know that last year... Insight provided every game on DVD after they had aired the games delayed on their cable network...

Rawlings also provided an audio replay of the games (I'm assuming these were also available LIVE... but I'm not sure about that... because I was at the games last year...)... But the audio replays of all 6 Championship games were certainly available post game at some point.

I've not used the KHSAA Broadcasting Network yet to "source" any of our Sports content to date... but it certainly looks like something our school should investigate... and if this really works well, there shouldn't be a reason for any school to not be able to broadcast any of their events if desired.

We streamed some of our football games using our own server this year as a test (very limited bandwidth)... and once the word got out... the server was always saturated with Grandma and Grandpa and graduated players outside our radio network coverage listening on Friday nights.

Our CSS channel will normally replay the games about a week after they happen. 1 game a day during the afternoon. They have been doing Alabama's title games this week.

WYMT is airing the 1A, 3A, and 4A games on Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure of the start times though.

How are they getting away with preempting the NFL? I thought that was a network no-no. WKYT didn't even do that with its UK basketball telecast last Sun.

Not going to happen! Someone (business, etc) would need to drop a load of cash to cover the ticket revenue lost if these games were live.

Earlier this year,Fox Sports Net carried Ky high school football,live, on Thursday night. It was only one or two games, Im getting old and cannot remember who the teams were.If they can show regular season games,why cant they show championship games,live. If Im wrong about this please correct me.
