This tournament starts tomorrow on Saturday. I would think the favorites would be Ashland,Elliott County, and Rose Hill. Should be another good tournament. :banana:

This tournament should be exciting.

Just a note that the Ashland - Rock Hill game was changed to 7 PM.

Raceland defeated Russell in the first round. Not sure of any stats or scores.

If Elliott plays the Faulkners or Ferguson, the coach should be checked out by a shrink. Why risk injury to a varsity starter with only 4 games left in the regular season? Elliott has a chance in the post season, but cannot afford to lose any of those three kids. They play the most minutes and are the three leading scorers. The freshman tournament is meaningless and from looking at the brackets the home team has set itself up to reach the finals. That is not a criticism. In fact, it is probably a smart move.

East Carter beat Fleming County 29-22 and Boyd County creamed Lewis County.
