Any chance CCH/Highlands move into 5A?

Just a thought.

You can move up two classes from what I understand.

How about this?

CCH from 4A to 5A, and Highlands from 3A to 5A.

You could drop Grant or Scott to 4A.

It would make a lot of sense, geographically and travel wise.

You would keep some rivalries.

Thoughts?

When is the deadline for deciding whether or not to play up?

My sources say that Highlands will petition to play up in 4A in 2007. Happy to get to post 1000 in this post!!!

That's what I've been advocating since the alignment came out. I think it's what most of us "Birds fans" would like to see. Not sure we're going to get our wish though. We'll more likely both end up in 4A. As for Grant and Scott, I don't think they will drop any teams down a class.

But who is to say that CCH will not petition to move up into 5A and play in a local district of Holmes, Scott, Dixie, and Grant?

Would HHS be satisfied with moving into CCH's spot with no CCH in the district?

I don't know anything but I think something like this is possible. I am sure there are some teams wanting to move up one class and if that doesn't work out they may attempt to move up two classes. I can't wait to find out!

If you look at the travel both will have in their respective classes, I would think they would want to move up.

The competition would not be a hinderence. Probably more on par to their abilities.

I can see CCH making the one class leap, but HHS would have to make a two class leap.

I cant see HHS settling for a one class move without playing with CCH.
